Dr. Juliana Tacardon has been working since 2007. In 2018 she received her Master of Science in Nursing and in 2020 she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree. She is currently a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her main areas of focus are educating her patients about, and treating their chronic diseases in order to improve their health.
Ms. Tacardon believes quality patient-centered care is a priority. To attain this, she believes a strong provider-patient relationship in conjunction with a motivated clinical team is critical in meeting the patients’ health care needs. Her goals as a primary care provider are to deliver quality patient care with compassion and competence and be a leader in the community. She’s committed to delivering optimal care and helping patients achieve their ideal health goals.
Prior to joining NY Family Docs, Ms. Tacardon worked at several other healthcare facilities as a nurse practitioner and a nursing supervisor. She also serves a Clinical Nursing Adjunct at St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Staten Island.
Ms. Tacardon was born in the Philippines and moved to Staten Island when she was five years old. Her mother was a nurse and encouraged her to become one too. She is the mother of three wonderful children, two girls and one boy. She loves to travel and learn about different cultures, enjoys reading, trying new foods, and has run five marathons. She likes to fill her free time cheering on the New York Mets and taking her family to Central Park.
