He is also well-versed in family practice medicine and is familiar with diagnosing and treating patients, instructing patients for lab and diagnostic testing, and assessing patients who suffer from primary, acute, and chronic health issues. As a healthcare provider, he emphasizes communication when it comes to educating patients on health risks, preventative care, diet, exercise, and overall health maintenance.
Rainier received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Saint Xavier University and his Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Resurrection University, both in Chicago, Illinois.
Chirinos is board-certified as a nurse practitioner and speaks both Spanish and English. He was raised in Caracas, Venezuela. When Rainier isn’t at work, he loves spending time with his family, swimming, reading Latin American novels, learning Portuguese, and volunteering with the New York City Medical Reserve Corps.
